I worked with Design for America to create a solution to an OpenIDEO challenge centered around reducing food waste.
I talked with New Yorkers about food waste and discovered that rather than a product, an experience would provide a better solution.
My team and I user tested to discover how much people knew about food waste and composting.
We partnered with Foossa and miLES DoTank to create a week long pop-up that provided opportunities for people to share their knowledge about reducing food waste. It brought over 100+ guests and led people to sign up to have their areas be considered for NYC's compost program.
